Guaranteed Job Placement FAQs

view more faqs

What exactly does ‘guaranteed job placement’ mean?

It means that upon successful completion of your Trinity CertTESOL course in Barcelona, our partner agency will place you in a paid teaching position in one of their destination countries, provided you meet all the application and visa requirements.

Destinations include: Barcelona, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Costa Rica.

Do you offer guaranteed job placement in Barcelona?

Yes, but these are limited to 10 spots each August, September, December and January. We work closely with reputable schools in Barcelona who hire Trinity CertTESOL-qualified teachers.

Please note:

The guaranteed teaching positions in Barcelona are reserved for our top applicants. Due to high demand and the limited number of spots, candidates must go through an additional pre-course selection process, which includes a screening interview and suitability assessment.

Only those who demonstrate strong potential, professionalism, and a commitment to teaching are offered these exclusive opportunities.

How many hours am I expected to work?

The minimum number of hours would be 12 teaching hours per week, but teachers commonly work 16-20 hours per week. It is very easy to supplement your hours and income with private classes, or even work for two different schools.

How much can I expect to earn?

Salaries vary by country, but typical monthly earnings range from approximately USD 700 to USD 2000. Specific details are provided based on your placement location and qualifications.

Can I choose exactly where I’ll be placed?

You can choose your destination country and express preferences regarding city and age groups, and we will do our best to accommodate these. However, placements depend on school availability, so flexibility is recommended.

When do placements start?

While placements are available year-round, peak hiring periods generally align with school terms—typically January-February and August-September. Flexibility with start dates can help secure quicker placements.

Do you help with visas and paperwork?

Yes, we provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout the visa and work permit application process, although obtaining the visa remains your responsibility.

What happens if I don’t get placed?

If we are unable to secure a placement within the specified timeframe after your in-country orientation, you'll receive a full refund of the placement fee, subject to conditions detailed in the agreement.

Is accommodation included in this package?

6 weeks of accommodation during your time in Barcelona is included in this package. You can read more about the accommodation service here. Your long-term accommodation during your teaching placement is organised and paid for separately. Our local partner will support you with this.
